Basil – Lemon Basil

Description A special cross between Thai basil and American basil that is popular in northeastern Africa and southern Asia for its fragrant lemon scent and basil/lemon flavour. Distinctive, with white flowers and a wonderful sweet lemon scent and flavour. Grows to 30cm tall. An excellent companion plant for tomatoes and peppers among others – the aromatics helping to minimise diseases and attract aphids away from your Mediterranean plants where you can deal with them more easily.
